Who am I ?

Namaste, I am a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

I transitioned from the professional world to pursue my Master’s degree, captivated by the current surge in academia and the opportunity to contribute to the AI revolution. I am a strong advocate for ethical applications of AI and believe in its positive implications to society. Currently, I reside in Cottbus, Germany, while further enriching my experience as a research assistant at the university.

My primary programming language for scripting is Python. I also possess experience in C++, Matlab, and Golang. Additionally, I actively participate in hackathons, where I get to experiment with new ideas.

Journey so far!

2025

May: Became a part of AI For Good as a Regional Lead for the Cottbus Hub. AI for Good is organized by ITU in partnership with over 40 UN Sister Agencies and co-convened with the Government of Switzerland.
April: Took part in the Eunice Entrepreneurship Lab 2025, a workshop aimed at cultivating entrepreneurial expertise and initiating the process of registering a company within the European Union.

2024

January: Appointed as an Advisor for ISAC to provide strategic guidance to new team members and contribute to the development of the student body at the IRO of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
September: Started my mandatory internship with Dr. Marius Klug at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, developing a real-time fixation generator and a validation method for neuroscience researchers utilizing Tobii eyetracker. The finished toolbox can be found under the section of Open source - Projects

2023

Commenced role as a Research Assistant at Brandenburgische Technische Universität (BTU) Cottbus-Senftenberg:
- October: Engaged with the Chair of Neuroadaptive Human-Computer Interaction, Faculty 1.
- June: Engaged with the Chair of Programming Language and Compiler Construction, Faculty 1.
February: Selected as a member of ISAC, representing Indian cultures at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

2022

October: Enrolled in the Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
May: Served as an AI Data Engineer at Fasal (Wolkus Technology Solutions Private Limited), executing ETL activities and optimizing production code using AWS technologies.

2021

October: Held the position of Software Engineer II at Myelin Foundry Pvt. Ltd, developing machine learning features for an automobile AI assistance application, focusing on hand gesture and emotion recognition.

2019

August: Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from IIIT Bhubaneswar.
January: Completed internships as an ML Intern, Data Science Trainee, and Data Science Engineer at Prometheus Group, developing an information-extraction, parsing, and data-cleansing machine learning product.

2018

May: Undertook a Research Internship at IDRBT, assisting a research scholar on an NLP task and contributing to a paper publication titled, “Improving Code-mixed POS Tagging Using Code-mixed Embeddings”.

2015

August: Began Bachelor’s studies in Information Technology at IIIT Bhubaneswar.

pylogger-slack: A Python logging utility with Slack notification support, built for flexibility and ease of use. pylogger_slack provides a customizable logger with structured output options (plain text, JSON, YAML) and integrates with Slack for notifications.
